·  Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans, and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions by Computer Aided Design (CAD) system.

·  Use CAD to layout the material such as: window sill, headers, copings, bands, signs, date stones, caps, medallions, etc. The customer would use my plans to install the material.

·  Makes simple decisions but refers most questions/problems to Engineers or Supervisor.

·  Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.

·  Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.

·  Broke down the material (dry-cast or wet-cast stone) from the blueprints into easy to read details and plans. So the shop and carpenters can build the forms for the material. That way the shop had a way to build the forms, for the material, that was the same for each job. This way it cut down on mistakes form misunderstanding the blueprints, or waste time converting metric into imperial inches.

·  I took 3D manholes, electrical boxes, pipes and would convert them in to a 2D fold out model. This allows the shop to easily determine the location of holes, knockouts, pulling irons, etc. This helped prevent misinterpreting the location of a hole or knockout.

·  I would take different state and county standards and apply them on the custom material.

·  Determine material lengths and weights for our shop as well as the customer. This allowed the customers to properly prepare to handle the material or make changes, before the material went into production. This also allows the shop to load trucks without going overweight or prepare oversized loads.

·  EN Engineering is an energy consultant, my team worked for Washington Gas.  We designed replacement projects, new work projects, and surveyed conflicts during other utility projects.

·  I take GIS and or vendor files, in addition to, As Builts and survey plans, and design plans for new natural gas mains and services using AutoCAD.

·  I use Microstation files and convert them into DWG AutoCAD files.

·  Create List of Materials; Customer affected list, Mailing Labels, and Cost Estimate, for each project I worked on.

·  Communicate with contractors to solve unseen conflicts in the field.

·  Work with team to find and solve potential conflicts on new projects. As well as, dividing tasks to individuals based on skill set.

·  I use state and county standards while designing all projects.

·  Creating drawings of existing and proposed conditions, using AutoCAD, and create plan and profile of the natural gas mains.
